Working with the Mentees
We ensured the mentees had been able to communicate with their mentors and we had emailed our mentees a list of questions every month that they could ask their mentors. The mentees had asked their mentors questions twice a month. The following are examples of a few questions that our mentees asked our mentors:
1) What do you wish you knew as a teenager? What would you say to our teenage self?
2) What tips do you have for financial independence and/or paying for college?
3) How did you decide what school to attend? What information helped make your decision?
4)What recourses were important to your high school, college, and/or professional success?

Meeting with the Mentees
Wednesday, February 7 2018, we hosted a mentee meeting during lunch at Bassett high school to catch up on their interaction with their mentors. They all have had great experiences talking to their mentors and recieving great advice, some girls have built a strong relationship with their mentor. Also we informed them on our expo that will be happening Friday. March 9 2018.
